Neil Armstrong's International Aerospace Hall of Fame 1971 "Distinguished Aerospace Achievement" Plaque Directly From The Armstrong Family Collection™, CAG Certified. A gorgeous, high-relief 9" x 5.5" plaque of Daedalus with wings outspread is mounted on an 11.5" x 10.5" x 0.75" wooden wall plaque with an engraved plate that reads: "The International Aerospace Hall of Fame/ Honors/ Neil A. Armstrong/ For/ Distinguished Aerospace Achievement". The International Air & Space Hall of Fame (as it's now called) was founded in 1963, sponsored by the San Diego Air & Space Museum, its mission, "to honor the great achievers of aviation and space endeavors." Armstrong, Collins, Aldrin, and Alan Shepard were the inductees in 1971. A beautiful plaque, ready to hang in your office or Space display. Excellent. CAG 1002095-024.
