Rare 17th Century European Sappers' Helmet. The extra heavy sappers' helmet with front and rear visors. Ear flaps and leather liner. No markings present. Ball test dent in lower left front. Size: 16 1/2-inches from tip of brim to tip of brim. Sold together with acrylic display stand. Condition: Very good. Showing age and patina. Leather liner with heavy wear and scuffs. A very rare, seldom scene armored helmet.
