Description
1964 Apollo Lunar Excursion Module Early Grumman Prototype Model. A larger modern replica resin model based on the 1964 proposed Grumman design for the LEM. Sitting approximately 8.75" tall on a 14" diameter base. Appearing on the base are both the Grumman and NASA logos along with the print "Lunar Excursion Model". There are small pins on the base that insert into the foot pads to keep in place. A nice likeness of the evolving LEM. Very fine.Auction Info
