NASA Group Eight Astronaut Candidates Color Photo Signed by Twelve including Ron McNair, Judy Resnick, and El Onizuka from the Ill-Fated Challenger Mission STS-51-L. An 8" x 10" NASA litho print picturing the thirty-five candidates in this January 1978 group. Signed in blue inks by Dan Brandenstein (STS-8, STS-51-G, STS-32, STS-49), J O Creighton (STS-51-G, STS-36, STS-48), Anna Lee Fisher (STS-51-A), Rick Hauck (STS-7, STS-51-A, STS-26), Steven A Hawley (STS-41-D. STS-61-C, STS-31, STS-82, STS-93), Ron McNair (STS-41-B, STS-51-L), Pinky Nelson (STS-41-C, STS-61-C, STS-26), El Onizuka (STS-51-C, STS-51-L), Judy Resnik (STS-41-D, STS-51-L), Bob Stewart (STS-41-B, STS-51-J), Ox van Hoften (STS-41-C, STS-51-I) (lightly smeared), and Don Williams (STS-51-D, STS-34). In an unknown hand at the bottom is the handwritten date 10-22-79, likely when these signatures were obtained. Very fine.Auction Info
