Description

Apollo 13: Large Lunar Module (Aquarius) Flown Netting Segment in Framed Display with Fred Haise Signed Photo and Embroidered Mission Patch. A rare segment of stowage assembly netting that was flown aboard the Lunar Module during the near disastrous Apollo 13 mission. The netting measures an approximate 17" x 3" and is beautifully framed along with a 9.75" x 7.75" (sight size) photo of the damaged Command Module signed in silver felt tip: "Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP". Also included is a 4" embroidered mission insignia patch and informational plaque. Accompanying is a copy of a letter signed by Fred Haise describing his acquisition of the netting, as well information regarding original acquisition from The Space Collective. Netting segments are rarely available in this size and are typically offered in small swatches. An outstanding opportunity to acquire a relic from this popular mission in a beautiful display measuring an overall 23.5" x 19". Excellent.
