Apollo 13 Flown Beta Cloth Mission Insignia Originally from the
Personal Collection of Mission Lunar Module Pilot Fred Haise,
Signed and Certified with Letter of Authenticity and NASA
"Meatball" Patch in Framed Display. A 6.5" square (sight size)
Beta cloth swatch with a 3.5" diameter mission insignia depicting
three horses flying across space with the Latin slogan "Ex Luna,
Scientia" (from the moon, knowledge) printed in the center.
Haise has signed: "Flown to the Moon on Apollo 13/ Fred Haise/
Apollo 13 LMP". It has been beautifully matted and framed with
a 4" x 3" embroidered NASA "Meatball" insignia patch to an overall
size of 13.5" x 20". An excellent display remembering a near-tragic
event in our space program. Included with this lot is a Fred Haise
signed LOA attesting that this came from his personal collection.
