Description
Apollo 8 Flown Beta Cloth Mission Insignia Originally from the Personal Collection of Mission Commander Frank Borman, Signed and Certified with Signed Novaspace Certificate of Authenticity. A 9" x 9" piece of Beta cloth with the James Lovell-designed mission insignia imprinted in the center. It has been signed at bottom in black felt tip: "Flown on Apollo 8/ Frank Borman CDR". A wonderful flown memento from this important mission in which crewmembers Borman, Lovell, and Anders were the first humans to view the far side of the moon and the first to see earth from orbit around another celestial body. Included with this lot is the original COA from Novaspace. Excellent.Auction Info
