Apollo 8 Flown Heat Shield Segment in Acrylic Display on Wooden Base. A 0.875" x 1.5" charred plug in a 3" diameter x 1.75" tall acrylic mounted to a 4" x 5.5" x 3" tall walnut base with an engraved plaque reading: "FIRST MANNED LUNAR ORBITAL FLIGHT APOLLO 8 DEC. 21-27, 1968".
