Description
Apollo 13 Flown Camera Film Fragments (Three) on a Certificate of Authenticity Three segments of flown film from magazines II, JJ, and R that have been mounted to an 8.5" x 11" attractive informational certificate. The certificate states in part: "The film segments on this certificate are from 3 film magazines that were used to document the Apollo 13 mission including the serious damage to the service module, the improvised adaption of the LiOH canister in the LM, the flyby of the Moon, and jettisoning of the Lunar Module (lifeboat). Analysis of these photos, especially of the severely damaged service module, played a critical role in the investigation of the oxygen tank explosion. This allowed for corrective changes to be made thus making future missions safer." Numbered 1 of 30 and signed by Sandy Clarkson at close. The first these presentations that Heritage has offered.
