Description

Gemini Capsule: Vintage Large Three Piece Scale Model. An outstanding hand painted wooden model of the Gemini capsule that stands approximately 25" tall when assembled. Features three separable segments, including the base which primarily represents the Equipment section measuring an overall 11.75" x 11.75" x 5". The mid section represents the Retrograde, Adapter, and Cabin sections measuring an overall 12" x 12" x 13.5". The top cone section representing the RCS and Rendezvous/Recovery section measures an overall 4.875" x 4.875" x 6.5". These components are held in place via a small metal rod in the center of each section to constitute one of the more impressive Gemini models Heritage has ever offered. Outstanding attention to details including both the United States lettering and American flags on opposing sides. Has age related wear and loss, including chipping to paint. Overall very good.
