An incredible display embodying the Apollo program
Apollo 11 Lunar Dust Specimen on Photo Presentation Certificate
Signed by Twelve Apollo Astronauts, Including Six Moonwalkers.
A small tape swatch with adhered sample of lunar dust that was
recovered from the lunar surface used Magazine "S". It has been
mounted to an 11" x 13" matted presentation titled "The Dust". The
display has been signed by an outstanding array of Apollo
astronauts in various inks as follows: "Walt Cunningham/LMP
Apollo 7", "Frank Borman/ Apollo 8 CDR", "Jim
McDivitt/ Apollo 9 CDR", "Gene Cernan/ Apollo X- LMP/ Apollo
XVII - CDR", "Buzz Aldrin/ Apollo XI LMP", "Alan
Bean/ Apollo 12", "Richard Gordon/ Apollo 12 CMP",
"Fred Haise/ Apollo 13 LMP", "Edgar Mitchell/ Apollo 14
LMP", "Dave Scott/ Apollo 15 CDR/ 'Falcon'", "Al
Worden/ Apollo 15 CMP", and "Charlie Duke/ Apollo 11 CAPCOM/
Apollo 16 LMP". One of the most unique autographed displays we
have offered. The signatures include six moonwalkers (including one
that was on the mission that the dust was acquired) as well as at
least one crewmember from every Apollo mission. Included is a
Certificate of Authenticity signed by Florian Noller of
Spaceflori.com detailing his acquisition of the original source
swatch of film, as well as Novaspace COAs for the Borman, McDivitt,
and Scott signatures. Also included is a CD containing photos of
eleven astronauts signing this display, only missing a photo of
Charlie Duke. An incredible display embodying the Apollo program.
Light corner bumps to mat, not affecting the display, very fine.
