Description

British Pattern 1842 East India Company .75 Caliber Percussion Conversion Musket Gun measures 54 3/4" overall with a 39" barrel marked at the breech "JPR/FXR/2684", "L27", missing rear sight, barrel bolster stamped "488". Lock marked "Moore" in front of the hammer and the date "1788" along with the British East India Company's logo behind the hammer, mechanically perfect. Iron is smooth and gray with areas of dark staining. Brass furniture excellent, trigger tang stamped "240". Wood is excellent exhibiting scattered minor dents. Missing the front sling swivel, original ramrod is present.
