Jackie, Caroline, and John Jr. visited JFK's gravesite on May 29, 1964 (what would have been his 47th birthday). Young John Jr. placed a PT-109 tie clasp on his father's grave, almost certainly identical to the ones included in this lot. Photos are available on the Internet of this poignant scene.
