Greeley & Brown: A Rare 1872 Brass Shell Campaign Badge. A deceptively rare variety is not to be confused with the similar-appearing versions made for Grant and Seymour. We have seen many dozens of those more common varieties over the years, but not more than two or three for Greeley & Brown. A most attractive item, with the inset, high relief portrait medallions in a bronze color which contrasts dramatically with the gilt brass shell border. Choice condition. Diameter 24mm.Auction Info
