Description
Charles de Gaulle Typed Letter Signed "C. de Gaulle". One page, 7.75" x 9.25", no place; April 15, 1946. Written in French on personal letterhead. Untranslated. He writes to the vice president of the Commission for Assistance to Children of France, thanking her for her previous correspondence and her work with the commission. Matted and framed with a 4.75" x 6.75" photo of the World War II French military leader to an overall size of 20" x 15.75".Condition: Horizontal fold on the letter, with staining at the right edge of letter.
