Signed by the author on the limitation page and by Ansel Adams on the photographic portrait frontispiece. Quarto. [10, blank], [2, signature leaf], [xii], 49, [1, blank], [1, limitation page], [9, blank], premlinary and terminal blanks serving as paste downs.  with frontispiece by Ansel Adams featuring portraiture study of Jeffers. Publisher's dark green cloth, printed paper label affixed to spine, in original slipcase. Backstrip faintly sun-faded, slight over-openning after first gathering. Edges around rear face of slipcase starting with slight separation at bottom edge, corners worn with boards exposed and minor separation at edges, small scuff to bottom edge. A near fine copy in a very good slipcase.
