Leah Bodine Drake. A Hornbook for Witches.
Poems of Fantasy. Sauk City: Arkham House, 1950. First
edition, one of 553 copies printed (most of which went to the
author rather than for sale). Octavo. 70 pages. Publisher's black
cloth and dust jacket designed by Frank Utpatel. Jacket rubbed at
joints, and a faint crease near the front flap (not unusual for the
paper used for the jacket). A bright, fine copy of a notoriously
difficult Arkham House title.Auction Info
