Frederick Sommer, photographer. The Birth of Venus. New York: Kevin Begos Publishing, 1991-1993. Five dust grain gravures from the original negatives, each signed and numbered "3/95" in pencil on the verso of each mount. Gravures range in size from 9 x 10 inches to 9.5 x 11 inches, each on single mount measuring 13.5 x 15.25 inches. Contains title page, letterpress sheet with exert from Genesis, the five gravures, limitation page. Housed in publisher's black cloth clamshell, printed white label.Condition: Fine.
