8vo. Publisher's black cloth, spine stamped in pink; original dust jacket illustrated with photographs from the 1956 Broadway production, frontispiece photograph also from the original Broadway production.

FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM of the musical play, SIGNED BY JULIE ANDREWS AND REX HARRISON, AND ADAPTER/LYRICIST ALAN JAY LERNER on the title page. Andrews and Harrison played Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins, respectively, in the original Broadway adaption.

Condition: Edgewear and rubbing to cloth. Dust jacket unclipped (priced "$3.50"), jacket toned and scuffed, spine panel sunned and with a small hole, large chip (32 x 27 mm) to rear panel, other edgewear with a few small chips and short tears, two tape reinforcements on verso.
