Garden City: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1917. 8vo, original beige cloth-backed gray pictorial boards printed in light brown, spine lettered in gilt; cloth slipcase. FIRST EDITION. Spine cloth and lettering a little darkened; minor spotting and soiling to boards. Laid-in is a typed letter from A. B. Shiffrin of Academy Book Shop in New York to Morley, discussing the disposition of some money contributed from the sale of a book intended for a fund on which Morley was a committee member, with Morley's 8-line response signed with initials written in pencil at bottom, 16 February 1938. Lee 5. - Morley. Where the Blue Begins. Garden City: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1922. 8vo, original blue cloth-backed cream and blue marbled pictorial boards printed in blue, spine lettered in gilt; publisher's pictorial cream and blue marbled dust jacket printed in blue. FIRST EDITION IN THE RARE DUST JACKET. Gilt lettering on spine slightly oxidized, very minor toning to board extremes; dust jacket with minor wear to spine ends and extremities, with a few tiny nicks, minor soiling. Lee 31. - Morley. Thunder on the Left. Garden City: Doubleday, Page & Company, 1925. 8vo, original black cloth with blue labels on upper cover and spine printed in black. FIRST EDITION, SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the title-page. Slight fading and rubbing to labels. Lee 52. - Morley. The Trojan Horse. [Philadelphia]: J. B. Lippincott Company, 1937. 8vo, original two-toned cloth with blue spine and light brown covers lettered in white; cut portions of front panel and flaps from original dust jacket laid in. FIRST EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR on front free endpaper: "Signed for Jean Dallett-- / Christopher Morley / Dec. 8. 1937." Minor rubbing to cloth; hinges slightly toned.
