Limited to ninety-five numbered copies, hand-colored in the studio of the artist, this being number thirty-one, and signed by Rockwell Kent. Octavo. [112] pages. Publisher's quarter morocco over decorative cloth over boards, top edge gilt. Housed in a contemporary slipcase and custom protective box. Slipcase with light edgewear. Spine slightly darkened, a bit of rubbing, front hinge over-opened and starting, bookplate on front free endpaper, minor scattered foxing on front and rear flyleaves. Accompanied by prospectus as well as a hand-colored example of the illustration of Dr. Pangloss and the maid. Illustration is matted with several cellophane tape adhesives on verso. Very good.
