FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR on the front free endpaper: "For Edwin Baird - This sketchy barrage of the bang-bang Chicago which we both know. / Affectionately MacKinlay Kantor / August 9, 1918 [sic]." Book fine, dust jacket torn ant chipped. - Kantor. The Romance of Rosy Ridge. New York: Coward-McCann, Inc., [1937]. 8vo, original tan cloth, printed in brown; dust jacket. FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR TO HIS PUBLISHER on the front free endpaper: "To James A. McCann / with my admiration / MacKinlay Kantor / New York / August 15, 1938." Cloth a little toned at joints and edges, endpapers discolored; dust jacket with price unclipped, minor edgewear, some toning and soiling. - Kantor. Valedictory. New York: Coward-McCann, Inc., [1939]. 8vo, original beige cloth, stamped in green; dust jacket. FIRST EDITION. Dust jacket price-clipped, and with slight sunning to spine, slight wear to ends of spine panel, front panel with pencil scrawls and small stain near top. - Kantor. Lobo. Cleveland and New York: World Publishing Company, [1957]. 8vo, original beige cloth, stamped in black; dust jacket (unclipped). FIRST EDITION, INSCRIBED BY THE AUTHOR on the front free endpaper: "To Ethel Fischer / Very best regards - / MacKinlay Kantor / 5 Jan. 1967." Additionally, inscribed by his wife below in red ink. A little toning to cloth on spine; dust jacket with a little edgewear, a few small stains and soiling, long internal tear/flaw across front panel.
