The Bible in Spain; or, the Journeys, Adventures, and Imprisonments of an Englishman, in an Attempt to Circulate the Scriptures in the Peninsula. London: John Murray, 1843. 3 volumes, 8vo, original blindstamped blue cloth, printed paper spine labels. FIRST EDITION. With the publisher's advertisement slips for the Handbook for Travellers in Spain tipped into Vols. I and III. Spines a bit dulled with a few tiny chips or splits near ends, spine labels a little toned and chipped at edges, minor wear to extremities, covers lightly rubbed. Book labels of John Lowe and armorial bookplates of Sylvain Van De Weyer. Ashley Library I, p. 42; Sterling I, 57; Wise, Borrow 8; Wolff 597.

Jerome K. Jerome. Three Men in a Boat. Bristol: J. W. Arrowsmith, 1889. 8vo, original pictorial blue cloth, upper cover stamped in black, gilt-lettered on spine. FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE, with "Quay Street" on title, with the usual second state pastedowns with "11 Quay Street, Bristol" heading the advertisements. Spine very slightly toned with a few tiny splits at ends; minor soiling and blistering of cloth; corners bumped; hinges cracked; contemporary owner's signature on front free endpaper.
George Gissing. The Private Papers of Henry Ryecroft. Westminster: Archibald Constable & Co., Ltd., 1903. 8vo, original green cloth, lettered and ruled in gilt. FIRST EDITION. Library label removed from upper cover causing some discoloration; hinges cracked.
Anthony Hope. Rupert of Hentzau. Bristol: J. W. Arrowsmith, [1898]. 8vo, original teal cloth, gilt-lettered and rule-framed on upper cover and spine, uncut. FIRST EDITION. Very minor rubbing and soiling.
Neil Munro. The Lost Pibroch and other Sheiling Stories. Edinburgh and London: William Blackwood and Sons, 1896. 8vo, original green cloth, upper cover lettered and decorated in dark green, gilt-lettered on spine. FIRST EDITION. Minor rubbing to extremities, touch of soiling, else fine.
