FIRST EDITION. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR on the title page AND WITH AN EIGHT-LINE MANUSCRIPT POEM, "BIRD LANGUAGE" on the final blank leaf. Also with three small MANUSCRIPT CORRECTIONS IN THE AUTHOR'S HAND on pp. 27, 51, and 79. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope stamped "Air Mail" and addressed to "R. A. Addyes-Scott" and with the return address in the author's hand.

Condition: Touch of wear to spine ends and corners. A few scattered spots to text. Dust jacket unclipped (priced "20s / £1.00 net"), a few scattered scuffs, mild edgewear and a few short tears.
