First edition. Limited Edition of 100 copies of which this is #37. Octavo. 64 pages. Navy blue cloth with title and author stamped in gilt on the front board, spine lettered in gilt. Ex Libris Danish-American actor, Jean Hersholt, with his bookplate on the front pastedown endpaper, signed by Mr. Hersholt in fountain pen.

A very rare copy of Roosevelt's famous speech declaring December 7, 1941, "a date which will live in infamy." According to our research, only one other numbered copy found offered for auction in the past forty years.

Condition: Slight toning of the endpapers, else very fine.
