Description

Civil War: Two Cartoon Illustrations On Secession of the Southern States. Two cartoons measuring 12" x 17" are numbered 1 & 2 in a series issued by Strong's Dime Caricatures in New York. One cartoon depicts the seceding states as ducks leaving the safety of their mother hen. In another, the southern states are portrayed as sheep leaving Little Bo-Peep.

Condition: Mild toning, overall, both are in extra fine condition.
