Brigadier General Justus McKinstry et al: Carte de Visite [CDV], Cabinet Card, Signature and Pass. Group includes:

Brigadier General Justus McKinstry / On the staff of General John Fremont in St. Louis, commanded a division on Gen.
Fremont's march to Springfield. He was subsequently accused of dishonesty in his transactions as quartermaster and was arrested on Nov. 11, 1861 by Gen. Hunter. He was imprisoned for one year, then released / Alexander Hesler, Chicago photographers imprint.

Pass signed by General Justus McKinstry from Office of Provost Marshal.
