Description

James G. Blaine: Grouping of Ribbons. These five champagne-colored ribbons span from 2 1/4" x 4 7/8" to 4" x 8 1/4". Two are of the woven variety (one being a coattail ribbon), and one is adorned with albumen portraits. The only example that solely features Blaine is the ribbon with the silver-colored metallic fringe. Light staining, soiling, and wear are present throughout. The largest ribbon has minor loss at the top-right edge. In overall great condition, these would make a wonderful addition to a collection.
