Description

Cast Iron Mechanical Banks (Two): Tammany and a Cabin. As follows: (1) This classic Tammany Bank was to represent the corrupt political figure "Boss" Tweed. Place a coin in his hand and he will politely nod his head. The paint has many chips but most of the color remains; and (2) Place a coin at the feet of the figure in the Cabin Bank, flip the lever and the figure flips the coin into the roof. Not much of the original paint is left on this piece but it is still in working order. Closure is missing on the bottom. A small 2" long cast bulldog is included with this lot. The dog was made by Crane & Breed Co.
