Clarence Darrow: 1924 Prohibition Debate Poster and More. 11" x 14" cardboard poster advertising a debate between Clarence Darrow and Fred A. Victor, Superintendent of the Anti-Saloon League. It is titled: "In Debate Clarence Darrow State Armory Sunday April 27 3:00 P.M." Light wear with minor creases. Sold together with three 7" x 9" booklets, all issued in conjunction with other debates by Darrow from 1918, 1919 and 1920. The topics include: "Is the Human Will Free?", "Will Socialism Save the World?" and "Is Civilization a Failure?" These were the personal property of Clarence Darrow. The consignor's great aunt Ruby was Mrs. Clarence Darrow.
