Description
Farm Machinery: "Salesman's Sample" Storefront Model Windmill. 37" high, 23" diameter brass fan, mounted on a 11.5" cast iron base. The fin is inscribed "Stover Mfg. Co. Freeport ILL. U.S.A." on one side and "Samson" [the model] on the other. Crafted from all metal parts. The fan rotates freely. The superstructure also rotates, but may not be connected to the gears. There is currently a small section of wire in place, of unknown purpose, but it may need a fan belt so the components move in sync with one another.
