Emmett Dalton: Personally-Inscribed Memoir. 5" x 7" book titled "Beyond the Law by Emmet Dalton Only Survivor of the Famous Dalton Gang". Published in 1928 by J. S. Ogilvie Company of New York. Paperback edition with color cover depicting a shootout on Main Street. Part of the "Railroad Series", so possibly sold at railroad depots. Free endpaper inscribed: "To my friend/ Dr. Richard Tanner/ (Diamond Dick)/ With best good/ wishes/ Emmett Dalton/ Los Angeles Calif./ Mch 14-28". Printed on wood pulp paper. Some tape repairs/reinforcements to cover and spine with light bleed-through. Sold together with reference material and a 1954 book titled "The Dalton Brothers".
