Description
Grouping of Inaugural Police Badges. Eight of the twelve badges are from 1989, and the remaining four are from 1997. Styles and designs are lovely, from eagle motifs to flags to a depiction of the White House and more. Roles include "Special Agent," "Federal Officer," "Chief" of Capitol Heights PD, "Inspector General," "Investigator," "Park Police," "Prince George's County Police," and more. The largest of the badges reads, "Defense Protective Service Police" and measures 2.25" x 3.5", and the Park Police badge is the smallest at 2.125" x 2.5". Light scratching and aging can be seen throughout, with all samples retaining their pins at the backs. Great condition overall.Auction Info
