Description
John F. Kennedy: Portrait Oil on Canvas by Noted Artist. Cecil Calvert Beall (1892-1970) was an American illustrator and portrait painter. He did drawings and art for magazines and comic books working as an illustrator for the U.S. Government for war loan drives during World War II. This painting signed C. C. Beall (circa 1964) in the lower right corner is an extraordinary work capturing a fine likeness of a youthful John F. Kennedy as he might have appeared in the navy aboard PT109. It measures 21" x 26.5" (sight) and is housed in an attractive frame with an overall dimension of 31" x 36". The condition is excellent.Auction Info
