Description
Jefferson Davis & Alexander Stephens: Pair of Abbott Tintypes. Pair of sixteenth plate [1 3/8" x 2 5/8"] tintypes of the Confederate President & Vice President. The Davis is a fine example with the original pink Abbott store card, but lacking loop. The Stephens is a choice example (slightly dark, as are all) with glossy emulsion, lacking the store card, but retaining the loop. A great pair.
