Description
Buchanan & Breckinridge: War of 1812 Veterans Jugate Ribbon. Featuring portraits of James Buchanan and John C. Breckenridge, this ribbon measures 2 3/8" x 9 1/4" and possesses a mottled salmon pink color. "Soldiers of 1812" appears at the top, followed by the portraits accompanied by their respective inscriptions: "For President,/ James Buchanan,/ of Pennsylvania." and "Vice President,/ No. C. Breckenridge,/ of Kentucky." Light staining is present throughout, with some minor loss at the bottom right edge, center, and top right edge.
