Winfield Scott: Great Niagara Falls- One Day Event Ribbon. This rare ribbon measures 3" x 9 5/8" and features a large portrait of the "Hero of Lundy Lane," Winfield Scott. From the "Scott & Graham Club" of Lockport, New York, this piece promotes an event to honor Scott at Niagara Falls in July of 1852 on the anniversary of the Battle of Lundy's Lane. A printing error of ink at the center can be overlooked. Minor staining at the top and bottom. Overall, this is a lovely rare sample in great condition. No minimum bid.
