Description
Abraham Lincoln: Folksy 1860 Portrait Campaign Ribbon. One of our favorite Lincoln ribbon designs! A 2" x 9" light pink or peach-colored silk ribbon with beardless bust of Lincoln inscribed "Lincoln and Hamlin. Union and Victory!" Published by Merrill & Son of Concord, New Hampshire. This rare ribbon was found by the consignor inside a 19th century book which explains its crisp appearance.Condition: Very minor crease at top left corner but complete with original selvage top and bottom. Only light evidence of aging, a great example with boldly printed devices in excellent condition overall.
