Description
Theodore Roosevelt: Awesome "Thou Shalt Not Steal" Button. 1 1/2" button with filled back, likely made by some off-the-radar manufacturer in very limited quantity, depicting TR and a Royal Flush poker hand. It reads: "Thou Shalt Not Steal. For President The People's Choice. A Square Deal and Straight Hand". The combination of gambling iconography and biblical quotes seems somewhat odd, but likely resonated with voters in 1904. There can't be more than a "handful" of these out there, we'd wager!Condition: Some minor foxing on the top left border; otherwise, a fine example.
