Abraham Lincoln: Inkwell Pose Carte-de-Visite. Very fine example of O-49, taken by Alexander Gardner in Washington, D.C. on February 24, 1861. Anthony/Brady back mark. A few miniscule flyspecks or ink stains, including one on Lincoln's cheek. Excellent appearance, gold ruled borders with sharp corners. From the collection of Dr. Michael Krane.Auction Info
