Yellow Bellied Marmot. Male. Philadelphia: J. T. Bowen, 1848. Original hand-colored lithograph (Plate CXXXIV) from the first imperial folio edition of Audubon's The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America (Philadelphia: 1843-1848), printed and colored by J. T. Bowen and dated 1843. Tiny amount of nicking at corners; small bump at upper left edge; short tear at upper left corner; some sparse, pale spotting; tipped along top edge to sheet of heavy paper. Near fine.

Original hand-colored lithograph (Plate CXXIII) from the first imperial folio edition of Audubon's The Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America(Philadelphia: 1843-1848), printed and colored by J. T. Bowen and dated 1847. Slight paper loss at three corners; 1.75-inch tear extending in from right edge; short tear at top edge; couple of shorter tears and some soft creasing at lower left corner; some thumbsoiling and smudging, particularly along lower margin; a few mild spots of soiling and foxing; tipped along top edge to sheet of heavy paper. Near fine.

Bowen and dated 1843. A few short tears and nicks around edges; handful of faint spots of foxing; faint tidemark at lower right corner; tipped along top edge to sheet of heavy paper. Near fine.
