Abraham Lincoln: Daniel Chester French Bronze. 6" x 6.5" x 9" bronze figure of a seated Lincoln, signed on the back side "D. C. French June 1915". Quite heavy with dark brown/green patina. Patches of verdigris at bottom which imparts character. French was the designer of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. His monumental "seated Lincoln" is the focal point for this Capitol landmark. Note the differences between this version and the final one adopted for the Memorial.
