Description
Edgar Rice Burroughs. Assorted reprints. Includes:Assorted Tarzan paperbacks issued in Great Britain. All London: Mark Goulden LTD, distributed by W.H. Allen, [no date, but circa 1950s]. Twenty volumes in total, some duplicate titles and reprints. Publisher's color pictorial wrappers. Various conditions, in general most with some chipping and toning, textblocks with some foxing. A few wrappers partially detached, other general wear.
[Together with]: Edgar Rice Burroughs. Land of Terror. Tarzana: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., January 2018. Limited edition reprint of the 1944 first edition, copy "X" of 52 lettered copies of a total limited edition of 252, signed and with an original drawing by Bob Eggleton. This edition includes the 27 chapter headings by John Coleman Burroughs intended for the first edition, but not included, as well as an additional illustration thought to be intended to be used as the frontispiece to the 1944 first edition, but not included in the original publication. Housed in a deluxe leather slipcase stamped in silver. Sealed in the publisher's shrink wrap and not examined out of shrink wrap.
