Carroll and Garrett Graham. Queer People. New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [1931]. Eleventh printing. Issued without photographic plates. While the novel depicts behind the scenes of Hollywood in the 1920s, the story is not based on a movie itself. Though Howard Hughes acquired the screen rights for this novel, a film was never produced. Jacket clipped at all four corners, spine sunned.

Kathryn Heisenfelt. Ann Sheridan and the Sign of the Sphinx. Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Company, [1943]. Illustrated by Henry E. Vallely. While not a photoplay or movie tie-in, this book has as its heroine the actress Ann Sheridan, and features a photograph of Sheridan on the front panel of the dust jacket. Textblock toned, scattered foxing. Dampstaining to jacket.

James M. Cain. The Postman Always Rings Twice. New York: Grosset & Dunlap, [1946]. The novel on which M-G-M based its motion picture, starring Lana Turner and John Garfield. This edition was not issued with inserted photographic stills from the film, though the dust jacket is illustrated photographs from the 1946 film.

Raymond F. Jones. This Island Earth. Chicago: Shasta Publishers, [1955]. This edition was not issued with inserted photographic stills from the film, though the dust jacket is illustrated with a photograph from the 1955 film. Orson Welles. Mr. Arkadin. New York: Thomas Y. Crowell Company, [1956]. Released as the film "Confidential Report" in 1955. This edition was not issued with inserted photographic stills from the film, though the rear panel of the dust jacket is illustrated with a photograph of Orson Welles as Mr. Arkadin in the 1955 film "Confidential Report." Some scuffs to jacket, spine sunned.
