Description

Edward White Photo Signed "Ed White". An 8" x 10" B&W spacesuit pose lithographed print. Edward H. White II (1930-1967) is best known as the first American to walk in space during the Gemini 4 mission on June 3, 1965. He was slated to be command module pilot on the first manned Apollo mission but was tragically killed, along with crewmates Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee, in a training exercise fire on January 27, 1967. Photo is generally soiled and stained with some surface roughness though the signature is largely unaffected.
