Description
Jack Lousma's NASA U.S. Government Photo Identification Badge Directly from his Personal Collection, Signed Twice. A 2.5" x 3.75" laminated ID badge for the Manned Spacecraft Center with a metal-grommeted hole at top and an attached pocket clip. Lousma's color photo, his surname "LOUSMA", the NASA logo,and his bold recent signature "Jack Lousma" is on the front. The verso has his vital statistics typed in along with his original signature "Jack R. Lousma", the facsimile signature of the Security Officer, a return postage guarantee, and the text "NASA FORM 4 MAY 1964". Note that his name is mistakenly typed as "Jack R. Loumas". Given the form date, the 1969 expiration date, and this early photo, we speculate that this might have been his original NASA badge from 1966. Very good condition with a good amount of wear from daily use.Auction Info
