Semi-Centennial of the Battle of Gettysburg: Hardtack "Relic".5.75" x 3.375" pasteboard box containing four intact pieces of hardtack, each stamped "NBC" [National Biscuit Company]. The top of the box is inscribed: "Specimens of 'Hardtack'/ furnished on the occasion/ of the Reunion of Civil War/ veterans on both sides in com-/memoration of the Battle of/ Gettysburg. July 3rd 1913".
