[Civil War Era]. One large G.A.R. tribute print, depicting prominent Union Generals and battle scenes. Circa 1880s.


Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R) Lithographic tribute print, measuring 25"x 20". Sealed in plastic, not examined outside of seal. Designed by Col. A.P. Connolly after a drawing by A.E. Cass. Titled in the center, "One Country, One Flag," illustrated with vignettes of various battle scenes and the surrender at the Appomattox Court House, flanked by portraits of prominent Union Generals including Grant, Sherman, Hancock, and Sheridan, among others, each with facsimile signature below.

Condition: minor edgewear; light scattered foxing and soiling; 2.75" closed tear to the top edge, just touching image.
