[Civil War Era]. 14th New Jersey, Commemoration of Service. No place: no date.

One paged, engraved and hand-colored, matted and framed to an overall 21.5"x 17.5". Not examined outside of frame. Issued to one "John Silvers", member of the 14th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. The document details Silvers' entire service history, from his enlistment as a private in Co. H, through the various actions he engaged in, to his discharge on July 27, 1865. A small photo of Silvers is placed is window mounted at the bottom of the document.

Condition: top edge toned; scattered foxing, 2"x 0.5" closed tear to the top margin, affecting image; picture of Silvers somewhat worn; frame with minor edgewear.
