Description
Napoleon Bonaparte: Portrait Snuff or Patch Box.1 7/8" x 2 3/8" x 1" gilt brass hinged box with inset miniature portrait under glass of the French emperor. Some discoloration and loss to portrait, as shown, along with scattered verdigris. Raised acanthus leaf decoration around the sides. No markings. Probably dates from the first half of the 19th century.
